I have served as  Mayor of Mitcham between 2014 and 2018 and I am standing again for the 2022 Local Government elections.

I believe the only interests that should be represented in Council are yours - the residents and rate payers of Mitcham. I have always been a strong and vocal advocate of increasing transparency, accountability and sensible decision making. I was one of the only Mayors to support rate capping, I believe that this is a necessary protection. I previously served the people of Mitcham with passion and determination, and together with some other Elected Members and Council administration we achieved some fantastic outcomes.

I have never been a member of a political party. I do not have any business interests in our area. I simply want to do my best for the City of Mitcham and those that live here. 

We are currently facing a cost of living crisis, with many families and households struggling to keep up. Mitcham once again has some of the highest rate increases in the State, and this is something that needs to change.
